Kindergarten's BIG singing debut!

Andrew had a duet - It was awesome!

And also the Spring Concert...

Ok - I think I got it now!!!

For some reason I cannot add more pics right now - I will try again later. God bless everyone - isn't awesome how good God is?? :)

Opening Day!!

The small kids had their opening day ceremonies and games this past weekend. So much fun - they all did such a great job.....

Too Busy for words...

Well this last week has been so incredibly busy! But WONDERFUL!! So let's start with first things first

Andrew was invited by a senior girl, Maura, to prom. It was neat to see him in his tux. All the sudden I saw a young man where a small boy used to be. He is growing up so fast and it seems crazy that he will be graduating in two years. Enjoy the pics!!!

Steelers win by 6!!! 62 - 56 over Kittanning Rotary

Steve was AWESOME! He had a great game and it was so much fun. The kids had signs for their dad and enjoyed cheering him on. I have to say it was the first basketball game I ever went to where I rooted for both teams. Steve had a nice three pointer and ended up with 5 points. He stacked up pretty nice against the superbowl MVP - Holmes. I have to say some of those Steelers were some BIG boys! What a cool thing for him to do - great memories!

Thank you Easter Bunny!!!!

Easter is always a cool time of year. Spring is sprung and the birds are back and I get to dress my children all alike. Only happens once a year and I relish it. This year they asked me how old they had to be to not have to dress alike anymore and I told them it was not an age but when they paid their own mortgage and had children of their own.... They did not seem impressed.
It always amazes me Easter morning how peaceful and serene it is. I have four kids scrambling to locate well hidden Easter baskets but I am oblivious to the noise and grateful. Grateful I guess is the best word for it I suppose.... How could a God so big love me who is so small? There is always a lot of time for reflection during Easter and this year was not any different from years before but I still found this Easter extra special. I really cannot put it into words. Even in my prayers I found it hard to communicate, God knows my heart though. Sometimes we get so caught up in the busyness of life and so many people this year are struggling - but in all the busyness and struggles do we stand grateful? It is always hard to be thankful when things are not going well, but isn't perspective everything?
So I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter break and took time out to thank God for His sacrifice and unconditional love. Remember when it seems so bad God has it all under control.

Hershey Park here we come!!!!!!

Just THREE more days until our mini getaway. I LOVE mini getaways. Just a few days with family to refresh ourselves and enjoy each others company and we love Hershey, Pa.
So we are going to Hershey Park one day and Zoo America and then just hanging out. I love Hershey partly because there is a hotel there that has a room with a queen bed and two doubles which is perfect to sleep our family and it does not cost an arm and a leg.
That part of Pa is so beautiful - full of history and gorgeous scenery. I get so excited about going each time. I also love to check out Sight & Sound theater every time. We won't get to do that this time, but if you ever want a great vacation there definitely include Sight & Sound. Last time we went I thought Will was going to fall out of his seat. He was amazed at the live animals and the actors. I would love to do a behind the scenes tour with the kids some day. I have always thought that area of Pa would be a great place to live...even though it is not on the beach! So keep us in your prayers as we travel. We will be getting back in Saturday so we can be bright eyed and bushy tailed for our sunrise service!
I had a new little boy in Sunday School today who did not know anything about Christ's death and resurrection. I was thrilled to tell the story! He asked so many awesome questions! I love it when kids are hungry for God's word. When he left he said "I hope my parents will let me come every week." No big productions, no expensive set ups, no food, no big huge craft projects. I was just filling in for our regular Sunday School teacher and talking about God. Don't let the world tell us we need more than that to reach these kids!!
Anywho - talk to ya after Hershey! Looks like Will is tall enough now for all but the two biggest rides. So it should be a lot of fun. Thinking about letting Drew and Tori take off and do their own thing for awhile but having some anxiety about it - I must have blinked because they got so BIG. Didn't we just bring them home yesterday? :)

Love you all and miss those not near!

What an awesome week!

Ok so here has been the run down....

Tuesday night Will and the girls had their first softball/baseball practice. Steve went with the girls and I went with Will - good thing too because Steve would have died watching Will do some type of jiggly dance in the outfield!!!! He got a hit though!

We also had our youth assist with Evangel Heights Church's Easter Drama. Every year they do a huge production and the first performance is a dress rehearsal for the elderly. They come in from many retirement communities and nursing homes. We bake cookies and escort them. It was fun and rewarding! The drama was excellent also. If you live in the area please check it out.

The shopping trip with grandma for Easter was cancelled to day - Pappy is under the weather so say a prayer for him. Tonight I have nothing planned - SAY IT ISN'T SO! So I get to work on my master's classes! Take care and I will catch up over the weekend!
